Change a letter

The question today has five parts with all the answers are words of 7 letters. The relation between them is that as you go from 1 to 5, change one letter in the solution, scramble the word and you get the answer to the next clue.
So, you can start at any question as 1 is a little generic :)

E.g. 1. Extend. 2. Warnings
Answer: You have 1 = "stretch" , change 'c' to 'a', scramble and you get 2 = threats
